Khloe Kardashian: The Secret To Her Incredible 35lbs Weight Loss — 'She doesn't believe in diets she believe life style change'

khloe-kardashian-looks-super-slim-popsugar-ftr

We are actually inspired by Khloe's weight loss journey and life style change.

According to Hollywood life she gave an interview on the Nova breakfast show on July 13 where she said:
“The word “die” is in it, I don’t believe in diets. I believe in lifestyle changes,” she explained. “I made major cut-backs. I used to love soda, so I've cut out soda completely and I drink like ice tea or water. I made that like a lifestyle change. If you do one thing a month and you cut something off little by little and then it just becomes a part of your life.”

She also works out 3 to 5 times a week.

Below is her progress picture.

I think she looks beautiful and like we say 'weight loss is not a quick fix, it's a life style'

Yam is an Alkaline Food

Yay! Yam is a cellfood. When we eat pounded yam we eat healthy or boiled yam with eggs, beans and yam, it's still great.

100 g of yam  provides 118 calories. it is composed of complex carbohydrates and soluble dietary fibre making it a great source for energy. It contains small amounts of vitamin-A, and carotenes which converts to vitamin A in the body. Both these compounds are strong antioxidants. Vitamin A has many functions like maintaining healthy mucus membranes and skin, night vision, growth and protection from lung and oral cavity cancers.

Yam is also one of the good sources of minerals such as copper, calcium, potassium, iron, manganese, and phosphorus. 100 g provides about 816 mg of Potassium.Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids, which helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure by countering hypertensive effects of sodium. Copper is required in the production of red blood cells. Manganese is used by the body as a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme, superoxide dismutaseIron is required for red blood cell formation.

But remember to always portion your food.

Detox Water

If you are trying to lose weight or you simply want to look and feel healthier, one of the best ways to get rid of  body fat and harmful toxins is to drink water. Just 6 to 8 glasses every day will help keep your vital organs in their best shape.

That's one of my recipes it's apples and orange. It can be taken chilled or warm but prefer mine chilled.

If you want some more recipes you can write me. But I will be sharing the effects of each recipe detox and what it does for the body.

Your Ideal breakfast

There are other options for breakfast which will be discussed on the blog but these are the top of my list

Eggs are great for breakfast a maximum of three eggs but try to get free range eggs.
If your cholesterol levels are high you can decide on egg white or avoid them completely.
They are best matched with fresh juices and not milk

Fruits are best taken in the morning to maximise it's value you can pick an apple or a banana add them to your oats or cereal.

A healthy sandwich is also a great option either toast or fresh bread but it depends on your goals you can avoid white and wheat bread and opt for oat meal bread instead.

How do I portion my food?

If you are a beginner in the diet game we know you have a lot of cravings hence food portioning is a great start.
Don't worry about how to? if we can't get a portion plate look in your kitchen cabinet. It can be done with a regular saucer or a small soup bowl as seen in the pictures.
It's really helpful when we don't fill out the plate just put in a regular serving for that size of dish and  you can eat only a maximum of two servings but we prefer just one.
This method cannot be used for Junk food e.g icecream.

Regular Soda, Diet Soda or Snapple

Would you rather a regular soda, diet soda  or a Snapple?

Aspartame an artificial sweetener used in many diet sodas is about 200 times sweeter than sucrose and regular sugar, the small amounts needed to sweeten soda result in minimal calorie consumption; this makes aspartame popular for use in diet sodas . However, its effects on the body have raised serious concerns about its use over long periods of time or in large amounts on a daily basis. Many sodas that are labeled as diet or zero calorie beverages contain aspartame. Coke products, including diet Coke, Coke zero, 7Up free, Schweppes also has a line of sodas labeled Slimline, including ginger ale, which contains aspartame.

Fortunately, there are sodas available that do not contain aspartame for those who wish to cut calories without the risks associated with the artificial sweetener. These products use Splenda, an artificial sweetener that is derived from ordinary sugar, or stevia, which is an herb native to regions of North and South America. Stevia is naturally about 300 times sweeter than regular sugar, and because it does not affect blood glucose in the body, it works well for those that must regulate their carbohydrate intake. Stevia has essentially no calories per serving. Splenda contains minimal calories  when used in sodas, the amount used to sweeten a serving is less than five calories, allowing the soda to be labeled by the FDA as a zero calorie product.

Sodas that contain Splenda Pepsi one,  Some diet Cokes but you have to check the label Dr Pepper and all Snapple products.

With or without aspartame, diet sodas are not the best option for those looking to become healthier or to lose weight. Many dieters believe the false assumption that by consuming several diet sodas a day, they will be able to enjoy the taste of soda without all of the sugar and calories contained in regular sodas, and that they are choosing a healthier option. While the calories contained in diet sodas are minimal, there are several reasons why water or other beverages should be consumed instead such as Sugar Cravings, Dehydration, Caffeine addiction and weight gain.

Water consumption is essential for your health, and substituting soda for water can have negative effects on your body.

The God diet

The Alkaline diet

A lot of research has been put in this diet from practitioners like Dr. Sebi who pioneered the application of this diet, curing diseases such as obesity, cancer, HIV and various viruses that attack the body. Discovering that almost all diseases are caused by mucus the body needs to maintain the right environment to stay healthy and that is an alkaline environment.
Studies have shown that the water in the womb where a baby is formed is high in alkaline, the breast milk also so ladies never substitute it for grounded rice, corn and animal milk. This diet categorizes food in two groups the Acidic and Alkaline.

Nobody is big boned

Just saw this on face book thought to share. This is a reality that a lot of us were deceived by. You are not big because of your bones. #Stopblamingthebones

Ulcer and Obesity

An Irony

Dr Fasanmade said: “For instance, if somebody is obese, he has a higher risk of developing diabetes, hypertension and arthritis. Others are heart problems, cancer, skin diseases and rashes, and ulcer. He or she is also prone to accidents. Fertility is reduced in women who are obese because there’s reduction in their libido. Similarly, potency is reduced in men who are obese. There are psychological problems such as depression. In almost every sickness, the risk is increased in obesity.”
It is almost difficult to believe that anyone with ulcer can be obese  but the truth is anyone in that situation denied the body of what it actually requires to replenish itself.  Believe me when I say your body is starving. The body needs healthy foods to re-energize and junk does not play this game, if your body was using up what you eat then you wouldn't be obese.

There is a saying you are what you eat; You eat junk you become junk that is accessible to all kinds of diseases, You eat right you stay healthy and build a strong immune system.
