Nigerian OAP Freeze asks some serious question this Independence day

Happy independence Nigeria! As we continue to smile and ............ Please fill in the blanks as your condition permits! 🙂 ----------------------------------- As Nigeria turns 56, I ask myself and my fellow Nigerians these few questions: 1. Did we really need this independence? 2. Has it played out in our best interest? 3. Would we have been better off, if Nigeria turned twenty five this year instead of fifty six? 4. South Africa got their independence much later than we did, could this be why they are less corrupt and more developed than we are? 5. At the time of independence the British Pound exchanged for one Naira and the U.S Dollar was less than one Naira, look at how far we have grown; is this progress? 6. Has the crude oil discovered in the Niger delta been our greatest blessing, or our greatest curse? ------------------------------------- Answer these questions as genuinely as your conscience affords you. ------------------------------------- After all said and done the final question is; What is the way forward?
