Love should be selfless not self obessed

 There is a saying that goes "love is a beautiful thing'', not just love in a relationship but love generally speaking.

Nowadays there is so much emphasis on how people should love themselves which is okay but when you love yourself so much that you forget to love others it becomes self obsession  and in most cases selfish.

Now if you are in a relationship you can't be self obsessed because then you forget the needs of your partner.  Love is only beautiful when you can give the same love you show to yourself to others, to me that is what true love is really about.

Love was never meant to be about you.
