The cause of candida and yeast infection is high sugar foods
If you have been eating a high sugar diet for years, its quite possible that your digestive tract has an overgrowth of an organism called candida albicans according to Robert C. Atkins, M.D.
In addition to the overgrowth of yeast in the gastrointestinal tract, most people also experience an
allergic inflammation of the mucous membrane throughout the body.
This can result from exposure to environmental mold e,g bread or nuts with mold or spoilt food. But certain medicines like some antibiotics can cause yeast infection particularly in warm moist body areas.
Symptoms include constipation, diarrhea, gas, bloating, heartburn, abdominal pain and rectal and infection of the genitals (vagianl itching, soreness and redness of the vagianl area, white clumpy discharge and painful intercourse) are all signs of over growth in the mucus membrane resulting from high sugar foods. Other symptoms such as depression headaches, migraines and water retention which affects your weight loss process and it causes sugar cravings because candida thrives on sugar. These are a result of exposure to environmental mold.
Solution asides from medication make healthier food choices add more green and fruits to your diet.
