How Kim dropped 22.5kg of her first pregnancy weight by using the Atkins diet.





The Atkins diet is popularly know as a low carbon nutritional approach to weight loss, promoted by and researched by Robert C. Atkins, M.D.

Kim kardashian used the diet along with rigorous exercises to loose 22.6kg/50 pounds of her previous pregnancy weight  in 6 months. She began the diet immediately after delivery but no exercise because she breastfed her baby North. She begun exercising  2 weeks into breastfeeding and built in up.

This was her menu provided by the Atkins Diet team.
Breakfast:  2 egg omelet with cheese and spinach
Snack No. 1:  Hummus with veggies (cucumber, red pepper, broccoli)
Lunch:  Grilled salmon, asparagus, side salad with creamy dressing
Snack No. 2:  Turkey & Cheese Roll-ups or Greek Yogurt with slivered almonds & blueberries
Dinner:  Chicken breast, broccoli, side salad with olive oil dressing.He also suggests "proteins like fish, poultry, and lean meats; healthy fats like avocado, nuts, and olive oil;  lots of colorful vegetables filled with antioxidants and fiber; and low glycemic fruits like berries—essential foods for maintaining energy."
