High/Excessive consumption of animal protein can increase the risk of high cholesterol levels, gout, kidney disease and in the long term weight gain.







It is estimated that  women should consume 46 grams of protein per day and men 56 grams of protein per day. So if you are on  a protein spree check yourself because what the body doesn't need it stores up as fat.
